Younger Young Writers’ Program

The Younger Young Writers’ Program is a series of sessions for teenagers, as part of the National Young Writers’ Festival. Sessions range from panels to in conversations to workshops, all focusing on some form of writing.

Taking place at Newcastle Library NSW on Saturday, October 5th, the program includes twelve Australian artists talking about their writing and careers. Young adult authors include Jenna Guillaume, Holden Sheppard and Alison Evans.

10:30-11:30am: All About Screenwriting (in conversation)
11:45-12:45pm: Writing Fiction (panel)
1:30-2:30pm: Writing About Pop Culture (panel)
2:45-3:45pm: Writing Comedy (panel)
4-5pm: Drawing and Illustrating (workshop)
