YA Bookmeet with Steph Bowe

The third novel from 22-year-old Steph Bowe, the much loved author of Girl Saves Boy and All This Could End. Night Swimming is about that complicated time between childhood and adulthood when the decision to stay or leave is playing on every young person’s mind. A coming of age story that follows 17-year-old Kirby Arrow as she navigates small town life in country Australia with her best friend Clancy, pet goat Stanley and new girl in town, Iris. Night Swimming plays a big part in supporting diversity in Young Adult literature by exploring complex issues such as sexuality, LGBTQIA, mental health, family dynamics and friendship.
