Freedom Swimmer is out in September 2016 thanks to lovely people at Allen & Unwin. It's a story inspired by the true experiences of my father growing up and how he and thousands of youths during the time, braved shark infested waters to reach the then British-colony of Hong Kong in the hopes of having a better life.
