Holden is a young adult author born and bred in Geraldton, Western Australia. His debut novel, Invisible Boys, won the 2018 City of Fremantle Hungerford Award and the 2017 Ray Koppe Residency Award, was Highly Commended in the 2018 ASA Emerging Writers’ Mentorship Prize, was made a CBCA Notable Book and shortlisted for a Victorian Premiers Prize. Holden is a Lifeline WA Ambassador who presents regularly at secondary schools throughout the country.
