Deakin University to conduct ‘Teen Reading in the Digital Era’ study
A team of seven researchers at Melbourne’s Deakin University is working on a study of Australian adolescents’ recreational reading habits in the digital era.
Researcher Leonie Rutherford told Books+Publishing that the pilot project, based on data collected from students earlier this year, will focus on ‘platforms, access and diversity’.
The team comprises researchers with backgrounds in children’s and young adult media and literature, education and arts and cultural policy. For more information on the study, click here.
