LoveOzYA – Style Guide
#LoveOzYA is a community, but there are a few rules to make sure everyone gets the chance to have their voice heard.
When you submit content or comment on other posts, your post will be published immediately. This is because everyone is a part of the conversation. That said, if anything is reported as spam, irrelevant, or offensive, our site moderators will remove it. So do think about what you’re posting before you post it.
It’s fine to promote the OzYA work you’re doing, especially if you’ve got news like a new book, a launch, or some pressing thoughts about a current discussion. But please don’t post every single blog you write – we need to make sure that everyone gets equal room to have their say.
You’ll need an image to add to your content – once you’ve got the image and the content, head to our submit page and the rest is fairly straightforward.
Use the #LoveOzYA tag for your YA conversations beyond the page – it’s there to unify the discussion, so make sure you use it! But if you want to use the logo, please contact us for permissions – the lovely Trinity Doyle designed it for us for free, and we don’t want to take advantage of her good nature.
Don’t forget to post! #LoveOzYA is all about community, and we need the community to drive this site, and ensure the longevity of OzYA.
